Horreia Food Industries was founded by the Fendi family in Egypt in 1966. Our story started with a desire to create high-quality, unique sweets and chocolates, beginning in the early 1970s with the Chicohend Brand, which quickly expanded to become a market leader in the Fourré market, resulting in the invention of the Sula Brand in the 1990s. Both Elite and Farha Brands were added in 2014 and 2015, respectively, to meet customers’ needs in Egypt and the MENA region.
Not only is Horreia a market leader in Egypt in the Confectionery industry, we are currently holding the 4th biggest market share in the Coated Wafers Market.
Horriea's growth throughout the decades is due to Fendi's 1st and 2nd generations' dedication towards product innovation. Offering a diverse choice of items is what distinguishes us from the competitors, such as hard candies that come in different sizes and fillings in both premium and economic quality. We also create a variety of flavored toffee and wafers filled with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberries, etc.
In the domestic market, Horriea has established itself as a market leader in the hard candy industry. Furthermore, we are focused on building a product that not only has a high demand in the domestic market but also a high success rate in exporting to all neighboring companies in the Middle East and Africa, as well as the United States and Canada.
